Who we are .....

Oratios, (we all call him Ory) is originally from Greece and has lived in the UK for nearly 15 years.  He has a love affair for bakeries, bread, dough - well, all food basically and we have waited for the right moment to come along in order to open our own café adventure.  Ory was key to the success of Gregory's coffee shops in Crete over 15 years ago - so knows a thing or two about running a café operation.

Amanda is a true Lincolnshire yellow belly and grew up in the Lincolnshire countryside.  She returns to Lincoln having travelled and worked overseas since the early 90's.  With a broad skills base, Amanda will be tackling the business operation, accounts, bit of marketing and will be busy baking some of her own goodies in the café.

Harry finished university last year and has been working overseas, he joins us this week!  Harry has great people skills and customers love him. He is really looking forward to joining the team and will be looking after social media and being key to the running of the café out front.

What are we doing .....

The Bread Vault is our first venture into owing our own café and is called No 1 as we hope this may be the start of something great - who knows maybe No 2 will open it's doors next year!!

We have been busy over the last couple weeks as we make some changes to the café and our menu will be available soon.

Our food will be freshly baked and prepared in our kitchen -  freshness is key and look out for some European influences to our menu.  We will bring together the tastes of the countries we have lived & visited with great tasting Mediterranean flavours, pastries and desserts.

Our doors will open from 07:30 Mon - Sat & 08:30 Sun for all early birds starting their day.  Available to eat in or takeaway - make the Bread Vault your first stop of the day.

And thank you..

We would like to thank our friends who have helped us along the way and have tested our products during our research phase.  Also to our many neighbours who have popped by to say hello whilst we have been updating the café.

To our landlord, Manorcrest; Alan @Thorngate House and our team of plumbers and electricians - Thank you for helping us make this happen.
